Job Overview: The Cargo Operations – Fresher role is an entry-level position designed for individuals starting their career in logistics or aviation. The role involves assisting in the smooth handling, documentation, and movement of cargo at airports or logistics hubs. Working under the supervision of senior staff, the fresher will gain hands-on experience with cargo processes, safety protocols, and industry regulations. This position offers practical exposure to air cargo operations and a foundation for career growth in the aviation or logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in cargo documentation for import/export shipments.
  2. Support the physical handling of cargo including labeling, sorting, and loading/unloading.
  3. Coordinate with airline staff, ground handlers, and freight forwarders.
  4. Help track shipments and maintain accurate records in cargo management systems.
  5. Follow safety and security procedures in the cargo area.
  6. Provide support in maintaining stock, managing cargo inventory, and warehouse cleanliness.
  7. Prepare basic operational reports and update shipment status.
  8. Learn and follow company SOPs and industry regulations (IATA, ICAO, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Graduate (B.Com).
